CHCP is absolutely amazing school. All the instructors strive for you to be successful in whatever career you choose. I myself went into the LMRT program there and Mrs. Lewis was one of my instructors that went above and beyond to make sure I passed my state exam. She would text and host night reviews if needed to she always would find away to explain something to you that you did not get and would not stop till you knew it. Also honestly all the instructors are very helpful and encouraging and they will do all they can to help you.
(Update) Campus President and other staff have reached out in regards to my situation. Things are being taken care of. I’m sure the process will be much smoother for future veterans. They truly care about their students and making sure we have the tools necessary to succeed. I appreciate how quickly things were addressed. Therefore I am updating my review.

I like the school and the curriculum as well as the instructor I’ve had so far. It’s been nice. However as a Veteran I did not have the best experience with registering/enrollment and communication.
Beginning with the wait list I was put on. I was told there was a waitlist for the program I wanted to get into, so for the following month I patiently waited so that I could begin classes. The month came around and I was told that I was not put into any slots and I was on the wait list again which seemed very unfair to me as I had registered 2 months prior. I reached out the the director of education (correct me if I’m wrong) Kelly, and she was able to put me in for the classes after all, for that month. (thank you Kelly).
I did not have the great experience with registering like everyone else did. I have had to jump through excessive hoops and constantly call and email their financial aid & admin staff to get any type of response or update as to my enrollment process as a veteran. I think it’s fair to say their staff members are not educated with the VA school program such as Voc rehab and the other chapters veterans have available to them. Which I believe they should be because Veterans deserve fair treatment and not to be shoved to the side because you don’t know how to handle the situation. I understand the amount of students may be overwhelming however I believe more than 48 hours to a week seems like a fair timing to receive a response from questions I have about my enrollment. I’ve been ignored. If you can’t answer my questions let me know that so I can find someone who will or point me in that direction.. I really wanted to “LOVE” this school how ever in my experience it’s not the case so far. Hopefully as time goes on things will get better.
The Career Service Department at this campus has been an absolute game-changer in my journey towards professional success.
The team, which consists of Ms. Allen, Ms. Fuller, and Ms. Ronnie, are a dedicated group of representatives that provide personalized guidance and support. They catered their resources to helping me craft a polished resume and cover letter that truly showcased my skills and experience. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence set them apart. What truly impressed me was the range of resources they offered. From interview preparation workshops that boosted my confidence to networking events that connected me with externship sites, the Career Service Department left no stone unturned in preparing me for the job market. I give thanks to this team that allowed me to be the best version of myself. Thank you again Ms. Allen, Ms. Fuller, and Ms. Ronnie!
When my daughter was enrolled the classes were good. She had to re- take a course but didn't because she felt her stressed so for the better of her mental status she took a break. Now she is trying to re-enroll and seem to be getting a run around. She looked at her records and saw that received a refund via EFT but she never received any refunds from them. I am not sure why that is. We may have to make a visit to the campus as we are getting no response by telephone.
I have been at this school for 9 months. I am currently in the LMRT program. I have had a very positive experience! The teachers I have had have been amazing and are very helpful. They are always willing to help, as long as you are trying. The classes are set up differently compared to a standard college. Classes last 4 weeks, which is very ideal for not only my busy schedule but My learning style. My advisor, Katherine Maciel has been very helpful! She told me everything I needed to know and got me set up quickly. Overall, I have loved this college, the way it is set up, and the support they offer. Just put in the work, you will absolutely succeed!
I am a current student at CHCP and I can tell you the school is great ,and they do make you feel very comfortable , the staff is very kind and helpful, they are truelly there for you when you need a hand with class concerns, personal issues or life issues, their open door policy is very real and comforting to have when you feel like you have no one to turn to if you need to talk.
I am taking the M.A. course and my instructors Ms.Myers and Ms Ewing are amazing instructors.
This school is DEFINITELY a place to come to to get your medical education.
Well worth a tour and attending..
I've built friendships that will last a very long time..you become like a family because you are classmates who lean on each other to get through.
I am excited to start my medical assistant program at CHCP. Ms. Celena was very sweet and professional.
I love this school, not only educating students but connecting them on community projects. Healthcare and empathy are hand in hand as a professional. Ronnie Ridley is a Career Service Advisor that goes above and beyond in her role, leadership. Outstanding experience interfacing with students and staff. Salute.
